It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Clay Prater (West Liberty, Kentucky), who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ellen Nickell Prater and Raleigh Orville Prater; and his siblings, Chalmer, Edgar, Mort, John Henry, Wilson, Woodford, Wilgus "Cotton", Ira Wendell, Herbert Ray, Mexia and Virgina Aliene.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Elaine; his children, Stacey Frisby (Gary) of Verona, KY, Kevin Prater (Laurie Lynn) of Adele, KY, Denenna Singleton (Martin) of Sparta, KY and Vicki Wiley (Steve) of Toney, AL; his grandchildren, Brandi (Joe Kratzat), Erica Tuel, Danielle (Jerry Sturdivant), Heather (J. Haddix), Kelsey Prater, Tyler Wiley and Haylee Wiley; his great grandchildren, C. K. Baker, Jasmine Baker, London Baker, Hunter Tuel, Rowan Kratzat, River Kratzat and Emma Haddix; and his brother Ventice Prater of Jacksonville, FL..
