With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Blanche Black of West Liberty, Kentucky, born in Blairs Mill, Kentucky, who passed away on February 8, 2021 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Blanche Black to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton Collins and Bessie May Collins; her granddaughter Emmy Partin; her husband Wendell Black; her son-in-law Jack Partin; and her siblings, Willa Dean Perry, Elizabeth Engdahl and Kelly Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Partin of Jackson, Ohio and Lynn Black (Betty) of West Liberty; her grandchildren, Wendy Partin, Billie Bartholomew (Dan) of Columbus and Brandon Black of West Liberty; her great grandchildren, Siler Haskell, Bailey, Connor and Peyton Bartholomew; her siblings, Amy Jo Morrison, Judy Davis and Stanley Collins (Cathy); and her grandson-in-law Dave Haskell.
COVID-19 mandate/regulations will be followed as set forth by Governor Beshear and the CDC. The family request that visitors respect their desire to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering of some sort.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations made to the String-Along Quilt Guild.
