He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Wilson and Virgie Kidd Wilson; his grandchild Merci Wilson; his siblings, Ruthie Phipps, Helen Warne, Cobern Wilson, Junior Wilson, Ralph Wilson, Glen Wilson, Terry Wilson and Ora Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Wilson, Patty Wilson, Randy Joe Dickerson and Everett Dagnan.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smith Wilson; his children, Jerry Wilson (Carol), Jeff Wilson (Michelle), Brian Wilson (Heather), Jody Wilson (April), Brandon Wilson (Whitney), David Wilson and Shawna Duvall; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jacob, Elizabeth, Jordan, Josie, Kaitlyn, Kaleb, Jase, Connor, Clay and Benjamin; his great grandchildren, Melody, Kaiden, Riley and Nolan; his siblings, Stanley Wilson (Elvona), Gail Umberger (Mark), Lois Dickerson, Jimmy Wilson (Lollie), Randy Wilson (Sherry), Debbie Bennett (Bruce), Darlene Swagger (Gene) and Jeanie Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Wilson and Donald Phipps. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
