He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Carpenter and Viola Joseph Carpenter; and his sister Brenda Carpenter. He is survived by: his daughters, Jackie Cavnar (Steve) of Brentwood and April Marsh (Chris) of Greeneville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Stephanie Cavnar, Spencer Marsh, Tyler Marsh, Watson Marsh and Chloe Marsh; and his brother Calvin Carpenter (Roxie) of Perryville, Kentucky. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
