He was predeceased by: his daughter Teresa "Terri" Sharp; and his parents, Hubert Sharp and Willa Lyons Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Louise Abel Sharp; his children, Karen Beair (Glen), Daniel W. Sharp and Kevin M. Sharp (Anmarie); and his brother Robert Sharp (Mae). He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
