With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Thompson of Washington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 4, 2021 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rodney Thompson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradford Thompson and Mabel Thompson; his former wife Julia Pickett Thompson; and his son Jamie Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Thompson; his son Rodney L. Thompson II (Teresa); his stepson Stan Bowling (Sharon); and his sister Deanna Osborne. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
