He was predeceased by: his parents, John Estill and Pearlie Mae Hardin; and his siblings, Elmer Russell Hardin, Eslie Hardin and Andy Lee Hardin.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin, Norma Jean, Ralph and Roxanne Hardin; and his brother Howard Hardin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
