He is survived by: his wife Connie Perry Newsome of Kermit, WV.; his children, Shawn Salmons (Kayla) of Kermit, WV, Teehia Newsome of Crum, WV, Megan Porter (Joey) of Ft. Gay, WV and Steven Newsome (Amanda) of Ashland, KY; and his siblings, David of Kermit, WV, Danny of Kermit, WV, Ronald Newsome (Sandy) of Kermit, WV, Mary Ellen Dingess (Sam) of Kermit, WV, Josephine Newsome of Kermit, WV, Pamela Newsome of Kermit, WV and Violet Dingess of Kermit, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
