He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Roy and Vashtie Alley Dingess; his son Marty; his siblings, Benny, Johnny and Opal; and his brothers-in-law, Arlie Dingess and William R. McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Moore Horn of Warfield, KY; his children, Tracy Dingess (Ladonna) of Somerset, KY, Timothy Dingess (Melissa) of Paintsville, KY, Ephesus Collins of Paintsville, KY, Charlie Collins, Denver Collins of Tennessee, Faith Copley of Ohio, Eliza Marcum (Frederick) of West Virginia and Cindy Blackwelder of Florida; and his siblings, Walter Dingess (Janie) of Hode, KY, Ethel Bowen (Scott) of Hode, KY, Bessie Mae, Emma Jean McCoy of Hode, KY and Thelma Robsinson (Clarence) of Inez, KY. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, extended family and friends.
