He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nella Mae Evans (Tootsie) and Bryant Johnson of Kermit, WV.; his grandparents, Eliza (Maw) and James Johnson (Poppy) of Kermit, WV.; his sisters, Armstrong (Tenna) of Warfield, KY and Linda Sue Johnson of Kermit, WV; his grandparents, Myrtle and Dockie Johnson of Kermit, WV; his nephew Jeremia Johnson; his great-nephew Russel Johnson of Crum, WV; his nephew Michael Johnson of Kermit, WV; his uncle Bill Johnson of Columbus, OH; the mother of his child Linda Underwood of Columbus, OH.; his son Jay Johnson of Kermit, WV; his grandsons, Jason Johnson of Kermit, WV, Tyler Johnson and Buddy Castle of Crum, WV; his siblings, Earl Johnson of Crum, WV, Anna Lean Horn of Kermit, WV, Myrtle Faye Dials (Rick) of Warfield, KY and Avis Bragg of Crum, WV; his aunt Belinda Zanders; and also Pam.
