He was predeceased by: his parents, Asberry Waller and Josie Chafin Waller; and his siblings, Willie Waller, Frank Waller, Alonzo Waller, Oscar Waller, Jim Waller, Columbus Waller, Lucie Ellen Waller, Hattie Marie Gallogly, Naomi Schultz, Jarrell of Tennessee, Brookie Collins and Bettie Stepp.

He is survived by: his wife Josephine Hinkle Waller; his children, John Terry Waller (Jennifer) of Tomahawk, KY, Timothy Waller (Lisa) of Winchester, KY and Sonia Rae Crum (Michael) of Debord, KY.; his grandchildren, Nicole (Jeff), Joshua (Angel), Jared (Kayla), Bradley (Amy), Kristopher (Sydney), Olivia, Emily (Tommy), Bethany (Aaron) and Evan; and his great grandchildren, Lexie, Rylee, Chloe, Isabella, Paislee, Natalee, Kashton, Aubrey and Cameron.
