He was predeceased by: his parents, Commie Gene Newsome and Vivian Baldridge Newsome; his brother Darren Gene Newsome; and his grandparents, Homer, Norma Jean Baldridge, Chet and Doris Newsome.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Adkins Newsome; his son Cody Adkins; his siblings, Homer Newsome of Caney, Jeffrey Newsome (Sherry) of Caney and Samantha Huston of Phelps; and his nieces and nephews, Raven Johnson, Lillian Belle Tucker, Emma Huston, Elizabeth Huston and Conner Huston.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with the funeral expenses to Hall & Jones Funeral Home.
