It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Jean Tipton (Versailles, Kentucky), who passed away on February 27, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Tipton; her parents, Marion Stratton and Frances Stratton; her grandson Steven Thomas Kinder; her great grandchild Logan Tipton; and her brother John William Stratton.

She is survived by: her children, Corneila Joyce Kinder, Melissa Carol Lemire, Charley Tensley Tipton, Phillip Winville Tipton and Douglas Thomas Tipton; her siblings, Beverly Hughes, Debbie Brumback, Laura Carpenter, Mary Jane Bain, Charles Stratton and Marion Lewis Stratton; and her grandchildren, Becky Owens, Amy Tipton, Tracy Tipton, Christine Kingery, Dean Tipton, Chrissy Hunter, Donnie Kinder, Thomas Tipton, Mark Tipton and Kelly Napier. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
