He is survived by: his wife Debra Proffitt of Versailles; his sons, Robert Douglas Proffitt of Jessamine County and Jonathan Kyle Proffitt of Jessamine County; his sister Joyce Proffitt of Lexington; his sister-in-law Sandy Proffitt; his brothers, Estill Proffitt of Lawrenceburg and Ronnie Proffitt (Pam) of Versailles; and his brother-in-law Jim Hall.
