He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Newby and Beatrice Shelton Newby; and his brother Ronald Newby. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Byrd Newby; his children, Tonya Renee Wheatley and Ronald "Ronnie" Douglas Newby; his brother Dean Newby; his grandson Ryan Oscar Newby; and his nephew Mark Nichols.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home (161 Broadway St, Versailles, KY 40383).
