He was predeceased by: his parents, Tyler Brothers and Jessie Jennette Brothers; his wife Helen Dumont Brothers; his son Bryan Brothers; and his sisters, Fannie Barnett, Laura Sea, Flora Drury, Plumie Hoskins and Lucille Cundiff.
He is survived by: his children, David (Robin) and Katherine Neal (Ed); his daughter-in-law Trina Brothers; his grandchildren, Valerie Whitsell, Jennifer Comley, Tyler Brothers, Joseph Brothers, Jessica Brothers, Emma Brothers and Kerry Pressnell; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Samantha, Madeline Whitsell, Jack, Kate Comley, Scarlet, Lorelie and Declan Pressnell; and his brother Frank Brothers. He is also survived by Brothers and Daniel (Dana) Brothers.
