He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Hood Soard and Buford Lay; and his grandson Lucas Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Brandice Soard, Sara Foley (Nick) and David Soard; his siblings, Leeann Dyer and Henry Lay; and his grandchildren, Abigail Workman and Chance Wilson.
