He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Abney. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Way Abney; his children, Jennifer Abney Clark of Lexington, Justin, Jordan Abney and Chris Way (Angela) of Versailles; and his siblings, Raymond, Donald, Howard Abney and Joann Abney. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
