He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Courtney Lancaster; his father Roy Lancaster; his son Jerry "Chip" Lancaster; and his siblings, Doris McManaway and Herbert B. Lancaster.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Hedrick (Mike), Julie Reed (Griff) and Benjamin Scott Lancaster; his sister Ann Routt; and his grandchildren, Jessica Brogan, Erin Hedrick, Kade Lancaster and Piper Reed. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
