He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Sholar; and his wife Ruby Marie Estes Sholar. He is survived by: his mother Jean Norman Sholar; and his siblings, Amanda Jo Simmerman (Abe), Alan Franklin Sholar (Bobbie Thompson) and Ricky Glenn Sholar (Mary Ann). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
