He is survived by: his wife Thelma Yocum; his sons, Travis Wayne Yocum, Jimmy Coots and Gary Lee Coots; his adoptive sons, Cody Marin, Felix Marin, Dana Reynolds (Ricky) and David Murphy (Heather); and his sisters, Kathy Brewer, Nancy Wiles (Gene) and Richmond. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
