She was predeceased by: her parents, William Monroe Bell and Clara Elswick Bell; her daughter Sheree Overbay; and her brother Gary Bell. She is survived by: her sons, Jack Spurgeon Jr. (Pam Bostic) of Bristol and Lindsey Lee Spurgeon of Kingsport; her siblings, Mary Burgess-Parker (Dave) of Rainbow City, Alabama and William Roger Bell of Kingsport; and her grandchildren, Wade Spurgeon of Bluff City, Wesley Spurgeon (Kelly) of Chuckey, Travis Spurgeon of Kingsport, Missy Crawford (Ricky) of Fall Branch and Ronnie Carpenter (Crista) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and 3 nieces.
