She was predeceased by: her parents, David Rufus Jackson and Fairy Lillian Butler Jackson; her daughters, Rhonda June Brown and Mary Olene Betts; her sister Linda Ruth Riley; and her grandson Christopher Thomas Mattingly.

She is survived by: her husband Bro. Clifton Robert Vandiver of Sturgis, KY; her daughters, Freda Gale Tilley of Newburgh, IN and Kathy Marie McDaniel of Sturgis, KY; and her sister Patsy Ann Brown of Madisonville, KY. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
