He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ratliff and Georgia Ann Belcher Ratliff; and his siblings, Fon Ratliff, Blanche Tackett, Elmo Rowe, James Ratliff, Laverne Long, Monell Akers and Bobby Charles Ratliff.

He is survived by: his daughter Georgia Ann Shriner of Stanton, KY; his grandson Michael Paul Shriner (Suzy); his great grandchildren, Bentley Michael Shriner and Landon Blaise Shriner of Mt. Sterling, KY; his granddaughter Michelle Ann Slusher (Delbert) of Rockcastle, KY; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Michael Browning of Stanton, KY, Rylee Stamper and Jonathan Rodgers of Rockcastle, KY; his grandson Jon Shriner (Kirsten); and his great grandchild Kherington Shriner of Stanton, KY..
