He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gill and Ethel Peyton Gill; his son Johnny Gill; and his siblings, Mason Gill, C. J. McBroom, Grover McBroom, Bill McBroom, Virginia Mae Triplett, Maureen Wilson and Betty Jean Gill.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Gill of California and Shealynn Wellman of Las Vegas, NV; and his nieces, Bonita Cobb and Yvonne Stone. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
