She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Brown and Dottie Ann Brown (Ward); and her husband Charlie Armstrong. She is survived by: her sons, Josh Armstrong (Nikki) of Smithfield and Aaron Armstrong (Christian) of Smithfield; her sister Sherry Peter of Simpsonville; and her grandchildren, Savannah, Sierra, Colton, James Colt and Charlie.
