It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson Mayse of Smithfield, Kentucky, who passed away on November 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lester Lee Mayse. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mayse (Hogan) of Smithfield; his children, Tonya Ann Jaggers of Smithfield, Bridgett Heightchew (Bobby) of Smithfield, Melissa Dawn Velasco (Tony) of Louisville, Lindsey Nicole Hecht (Dennis) of Carmel, IN, Mark Daniel Mays (Terri) of Smithfield and Sonny Eugene Mays (Sonja) of New Castle; and his mother Wilma Fay Mayse of Crestwood. He is also survived by 24 Grandchildren 12 Great-Grandchildren.
