He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Bradley Hughes; his parents, Ellen Hughes Moran and Junior Hughes; his brother Robert Moran; and his stepson John Gilvin.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hughes (LeeAnn) of Paris and Rebeca Arvestål of Sweden; his siblings, Marie Sapp (Paul) of Ft. Myers, Florida and Gary Hughes of Paris; his grandchildren, Chase, Brady Hughes, Isabella Sears, Linnea Arvestål, Shriley, Leigh-Ann and Cameron Gilvin; and his close friends, Carolyn Dotson, Mary Susan and Dougie McCord.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ricky & Brenda Hughes Fund with the Carlisle Rotary Club.
