He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Powers and Clara Mae Driver Powers; and his siblings, Molly Minton, Betty Rowland, Eddie Powers, Carl Powers and John Leonard Powers.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise Taylor (Tony) of Scottsville, KY; his grandchildren, Blake Taylor (Kaitlyn) of Alvaton, KY and Amanda Howard (T. J.) of Scottsville, KY; his great grandchildren, Logan Taylor, Alainna Howard and Clara Jane Howard; and his siblings, Mary Davis (Carl) of Murfreesboro, TN and Joe Powers (Evolyn) of McMinnville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
