He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Maxie and Lizzie Eldridge Maxie; and his siblings, Easter Salyers, William Maxie and Kendrick Maxie.
He is survived by: his siblings, Higgie Maxie of Isonville, Virgil Maxie of Isonville and Mary Skaggs of Olive Hill.
