With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Keeton Helton of Salyersville, Kentucky, born in Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 25, 2021 at the age of 65. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rader Keeton and Opal Pugh Keeton; her granddaughter Mercedes Layne Whitaker Stephens; and her brothers, Larry Keeton and Ricky Keeton.

She is survived by: her children, Tracey Whitaker (Shane) of Salyersville and Edgar Shawn Helton of Salyersville; and her grandsons, Shawn Presley Helton and Noah Bradley Helton.
