He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Fletcher and Eva Whitaker Fletcher; and his daughter Tracy Dawn Fletcher. He is survived by: his wife Lorene Salyer Fletcher; his children, Scotty Fletcher (Nikki) of Royalton, Dudley Allen (Amanda) of Royalton and Sara Lemaster (Perry) of Royalton; and his siblings, Alene Jackson of Royalton and Howard Gregory "Dange" Shepherd. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and a special nephew.
