He is survived by: his wife Betty Tamara Simpkins Howard; his daughter Adrienne (Mike Rogers); his stepsons, Cody Montgomery and Jeremy Hunley; his grandsons, Dwayne Risner, Christopher Grone and Neil Grone; his siblings, Bobby Howard, Kathern Conley, Essie Wright, Betty Arnett and Lola Arnett; his grandchildren, Katlynn Minix and Michael John Rogers; and his great grandchild Noah Minix. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren.
