It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Prater (Salyersville, Kentucky), born in Grayson, Kentucky, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Prater and Nancy Cole Prater. He is survived by: his siblings, John Prater, Ralph Prater, Blaine Prater, Gary Prater, Kelly Prater, Skip Prater, Paul Prater, James Prater, Monroe Prater, Don Prater, JC Prater, Madeline, Beverly and Fay; his sister-in-law Teresa Prater; his daughters, Leann Nicole Bailey (Dylan Roberts), Nancy Gibson (Chadwick) of Salyersville and Kellie Justice (John) of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Nova Bleeker, Conner Bleeker, Noah Bailey, Mason Haney, Hunter Haney, Oliver Haney, Gabe Justice, Anna Justice and Violet Justice; his brothers, Ray Cole (Brenda) of Jackson, Glenn Prater (Cindy) of Jackson and Eddie Prater (Mary) of Salyersville; his sister-in-law Jennie Prater of Jackson; and his nephews, Christopher Bailey of Salyersville and Randy Bailey of Salyersville.
