She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dowd and Radie Insco Dowd; her husband Charles Thomas Soyars; her stepsons, Gary Soyars and Charles (Wayne Soyars); her sister Jean Ashby; her grandson Brandon Smith; and her brothers, Rayburn "Stumpy" Dowd and Hubert Dowd.
She is survived by: her daughter Darlene Smith (Mike) of Russellville, KY; her stepdaughter Brenda Knight of Russellville, KY; and her grandchildren, Erik Smith (Morgan) of Beechmont, Tabatha Knight Vassey (Darrell) of Russellville, Charlene Soyars of Scottsville, Samatha Knight of Russellville and Ethan Soyars of Scottsville. She is also survived by nine Great-grandchildren; one Great-great-grandchild.
