He was predeceased by: his parents, Rusch Sr. Wittmann and Esther Wittmann; and his siblings, Rusch Jr., Duane, Robert Wittmann, Dorothy Wittmann, Margaret Harrison and Virginia Bloomstead.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Wittmann; his children, Margaret "Peggy" Hornsby (Ken) and William "Rick" Wittmann II (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, William Wittmann III, Peyton Hornsby Hurn (Josh), Jessica Hornsby Tice, Jimmy Simpson (Erin) and Jennifer Sparks (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Draven Tice, Braden Tice, Nolan Hurn, Lee Sparks, Lizzie Sparks and Olivia Simpson; and his nephews, Richard Bloomstead and Robert Harrison.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to be made to Raceland Christian Church.
