He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Preston and Magdalene Preston. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lyon Preston; his sons, Chad Preston (Kerri) of Chicago and Matt Mattingly (Lynn) of Lexington; his granddaughters, Maude Preston, Erica Mattingly and Ella Mattingly; and his sister Earlean Picklesimer (Max) of Richmond, KY. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
