It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lyon (Russell, Kentucky), who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean; his sons, James Lyon Jr. (Beverly) and Dr. Ben Lyon (Tracee); his grandchildren, Andy Lyon (Shelby), Mitch Lyon, Claire Lyon, Jenna Ward (Palmer) and Grace Lyon; his siblings-in-law, Pat Frese and Ron Foster; his parents, Valla and Benjamin Lyon; and his brothers, Dr. Paul Lyon and Earl "Buck" Lyon.
The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic prevents what would normally be a great time of gathering and fellowship.
