Don Franklin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Franklin of Russell, Kentucky, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin and Hettie Brown Franklin; and his siblings, Bill Franklin, Cora Lou Greenlee and Sue Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Katherine "Katie" Franklin of Russell; his children, Rebecca Akers of Jackson, OH, Charles Franklin of Ashland and Kevin Franklin (Tina) of Mt. Vernon, IN; his grandchildren, Tyler Akers, Alex Akers, Shayna Franklin, Shaun Franklin and Phillip Franklin; and his great grandchild Tien Charles Franklin.
