He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Charles B. Hogg Sr. and Dewey Alexander Hogg; his son Phil Hogg, Sr.; and his siblings, William "Buddy" Hogg, Mary Whitaker, Doris Beams and Lola Fish.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Baldwin Hogg; his daughters, Patty Roark (Hank) and Angie Smart (Brad); his daughter-in-law Janet Hogg; his grandchildren, Phillip Hogg (Jenny), Christopher Hogg (Sarah), Andrew Hogg (Kristen), Abby Smart, Aaron Smart, Tim Roark, Danielle Roark and Kayla Daniels (Michael); his great grandchildren, Nathan, Sadie, Bennett, Jayden, Silas and Luke; his siblings, Neil Hogg (Judie) of Ashland, KY and Ruth Ann Haggard of Lexington, KY; his caregiver Karri Price; and his son-in-law Rev. Brad Smart. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and his church family.
