It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Lynn McElroy of Russell Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Teresa has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruel Burd and Clorine Taylor Burd; her husband Darry Dale McElroy; and her sister Pat Stiegler. She is survived by: her son Jon McElroy (Amy) of Russell Springs; her grandchildren, Nathanel McElroy, Adrian McElroy and Madison McElroy; and her great grandchild Owen James Kimes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503. Donations may be made at the funeral home.
