With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Bailey of Russell Springs, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Thomas and Goldie Muriel Eudy Bailey; and his siblings, Thomas Bailey, Russell Bailey, Clay Bailey, Sarah Francis Bailey and Lauretta Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Brown Bailey; his children, Wendy Waddle (Terry), Contessa Johnson, Brandey Morgan (Larry), Jason Bailey and Shallan Bailey; his grandchildren, Megan Quinn (Will), Paige Kerns (Timmy), Becca Johnson, Brett Young, Cheyenne McGill (Justin), Bailey Lee Holmes and Rylie Bailey; his great grandchildren, Gracin Quinn, Sadie Quinn, Clayton Kerns, Keagan Bowen, Lillian McGill, Auroa Kerns, Mason Bowen and Jolie Kerns; and his siblings, Wanda Kidd, Ricky Bailey (Janet) and David Bailey (Faye). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
