He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Allen and Dorothy Smith Allen; his stepfather Ray Smith; his children, Donald Nicholas and Carrie Allen; and his siblings, Dedee Phillips, Shirley Rosen and Kenny Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Fannie Allen of Russell Springs; his children, James Nicholas (Lisa) of Nancy, KY, Kelly Allen of Syracruse, NY, Melissa Allen of Bardstown, KY, Deborah Nicholas (Parker Hines) of Eubank, KY, Teresa Baldwin of Somerset and Tina Thompson (Gary) of Nancy, KY; and his brother Peter Allen (Linda) of Syracruse, NY. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; extended family, neighbors and friends.
