He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Henry Popplewell and Edna Popplewell of Russell County; his siblings, Addielen Dunbar (Jack) and Marshall Popplewell; and his brother-in-law Avalynn Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rosie Zimmerman, Juanita Foley (Steve), J. C. Popplewell (Melinda) of McKenzie, TN. and Clifton Popplewell (Jenny); and his sister-in-law Betty Popplewell.
