With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Thorsen of Russell Springs, Kentucky, born in Russell, Kentucky, who passed away on May 31, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Robertson and Lois Luttrell Robertson; her husband Al Thorsen; and her brother Bobby Robertson. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Thornton (Susan) of Lexington and Paul Brent Thornton (Julie) of Owensboro; her siblings, Billy Robertson (Becky) of Russell Springs, Stevie Robertson of Russell Springs and Bonnie Richardson (Marion) of Russell Springs; her grandchildren, Elijah Thornton, Thomas Henry Thornton (Hannah), Josiah Thornton, Grace Thornton, Abigail Thornton, John Samuel Thornton and Rebecca Thornton; her stepgrandson Kyle Thornton; and her great grandchild Hannah Thornton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503 Betty's funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bernard Funeral Home.
