He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy J. Reed and Edith Fraley Blanton Reed; his wife Charlene Blanton; and his siblings, Stoney (Gena) and Joann Mckenzie (Mike).
He is survived by: his stepfather Fred Reed; his stepson Aaron Osborne; his siblings, Michael B. Blanton (Becky) of Paintsville, J. C. Blanton (Jeanetta) of Oil Springs, Sue Combs of Hager Hill, Janie Castle of Martha, Lynn Hayden (Rick) of Van Lear and Pat LeMaster of River; and his grandchildren, Hannah and Caleb Osborne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Tutor Key Community Church.
