He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Smith and Alice Waldenmayer Smith; and his sisters, Virginia "Boots" Sandfoss and Donna Sue Reinert. He is survived by: his children, Rick Smith (Wendy), Glenn Smith (Missy), Audie Smith (Elaine), Jenny Henry (Steve) and Jayne Lawson (Harrison); the mother of his children JoAnn Huck; and his sisters, Billie Jean Kopp and Wanda Faye Sandfoss. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
