He was predeceased by: his parents, George Russell and Virgie Marie Griffieth Jones; his stepson Bobby Gene Rader; his brother Freddy Jones; and his stepgreat-grandson Elijah Rader.
He is survived by: his wife Maudie Frances Harrison Jones; his daughters, Jeanna Renea Phillips (Donnie) of Lancaster and Dianna Michelle Pigg of Richmond; his stepchildren, Ricky Dale Rader (Martha) and Debbie Frances Adkins; his siblings, William Jones, Garrett Jones (Mary) and Linda Johnson (Larry); his grandchildren, Dylan Pigg, Emily Sparks (Jacob), Ashley Childress (Jonathan), Brian Roberts and Brandon Roberts (Ashley); his stepgrandchildren, Ricky Rader, Jr. (Jeanette), Justin Rader (Courtney), Courtney Estes (Dalton), Cassandra Reynolds, Matthew Rader, Joseph Rader, Felicia Adkins, Jacob Adkins, Brittany Adkins and Josh Adkins; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Natasha Adkins, Jason Adkins, Daniel Rader and Elijah Enoch Rader; and his close friends, Donna Noland and Jerry Evans. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
