She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence E. Thompson, and Ermal Thompson, Sr. (Tommy); and her siblings, Dr. Lawrence E. Thompson, Jr. and Shirley Lawrence. She is survived by: her husband Dr. John A. Roberts; her son Dr. Terry A. Roberts; her daughter-in-law Susan Roberts (Rowe); her daughters, Dr. Sherry J. Roberts and Dr. Cathy Roberts Hammond; and her grandchildren, Terris Roberts, Ariadne Roberts, Dr. Abigail Hammond (Lauren Moore) and Meghan Hammond.
