He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda White Powell; his parents, Hughie Powell and Violet Mobley Powell; and his siblings, Jewell Saylor, Shirley Jean Lakes, Boyd Powell, Floyd Powell, Wayne Powell and Bobby Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Powell, Jr. (Leslie), Patricia Ann Hobbs (Kenny) and Donna Jean Williams (Richard); his grandchildren, Jacob Powell, Clinton Powell, Kristyn Powell, Logan Powell, Andrew Reed, Kyria Reed, Nikolas Reed and Stephan Davis; his great grandchildren, Hunter Moore, Aja Grace Reed, Willa Davis, Jacob Powell and Waylon Powell; and his sister Iva Lawson.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home (1110 Barnes Mill Rd, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
